Alternate Reality
In 1753, Elizabeth Summers, or Lillith as she’s referred to in the vampire world, turned Angelus, into the Scourge of Europe. Darla, Lillith’s Sire, takes a liking to the new vampire and runs off with him.
After Angelus regains his soul, he disappears to America. Lillith goes after Darla and is cursed by the same gypsy clan before she kills Darla. Lillith disappears to America as well. Unbeknownst to either of them, Whistler, a messenger from the Powers That Be, convinces both of them that they need to train for the next big battle.
He goes from one end of the country to the other, training them both separately. When the new Slayer, Faith, is called in Boston, Angel and Buffy (her changed name) go to the city. Faith befriends them both and with the help of her Watcher, Wesley Wyndham Pryce, and her friends Cordelia Chase and Daniel Osbourne, they defeat the First Evil and close the Hellmouth.
