Faith Caldwell is a teenage vampire Slayer. Her mother and herself moved to Sunnydale after Faith burned down her high school gym in Boston.
In Sunnydale, she meets Willow and Xander, who quickly learn her secret. With the aide of them, her Watcher Wesley Wyndham Pryce, and the mysterious man Angel, she has been chosen to fight the forces of darkness.
She and Angel become really good friends, and Faith begins to date Xander. Two years after Faith’s revival from drowning, a mysterious blonde girl shows up. Faith learns that the blonde is a Slayer from the 18th century named Elizabeth Summers, a vampire. We learn that Angelus and Buffy used to terrorize Europe before Angelus regained his soul.
